MEET STEVEN

It started in the Peruvian jungle.

Evolved Solar began in the Peruvian jungle in 2015. Steven spent two weeks in the wilderness looking for a way to connect his trade to what he cared about, which was health and the environment. He came out with the idea that became Evolved Solar & Electrical.

What that means for the work.

Steven's interest in health and the environment set the direction of the business, and it still decides how systems get specified. Every install is meant to leave the customer better off on their power bill and leave something behind for the community as well. In his own words:

"I love every bit of it—from being hot and sweaty on the roof doing the heavy lifting, to the calm, professional focus required to ensure our customers know they are in safe hands."

The Evolved difference.

The person who designs your system is the same person who installs it. Steven holds the electrical licence and the design accreditation, and he is on site with the team, so the specification you agree to is the one that goes on your roof. Nothing passes to a subcontractor between the quote and the switch-on.

The work runs on both halves of the trade. There is the physical side, which is hot roofs and heavy lifting. There is the research side, which is keeping up with battery chemistry, changing rebates and connection rules that differ between networks. A team that only does one of those well will cost you on the other.

Today Evolved Solar works with families and businesses across South East Queensland and Northern Rivers NSW.
